I first started running in January of 2018 just to get in better shape, which turned into a 65lb weight loss! Then, I ran my first 5k in June of 2018 and I knew I was made for running.
Having 2 kids, it can be hard see yourself other than 'mom.' Running gave me a new sense of self and I found a purpose for my life other than caring for my two kids. Coach Mike helped me complete my first marathon in March of 2019. His coaching has pushed me to never give up and always work towards my potential! The running community is amazingly supportive and Mike is a huge part of that!
